It should be used in day 12-26 of your cycle. Use 1/4 teaspoon (best if you use one that is in a pump that premeasures for you). It may make you a little sleepy, so use it before bedtime for the best sleep. Use it on an area of the body with thinner skin (like the inside of your arm, face, breast, etc). If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me. I'd be happy to share some more information with you.

hanshab~ I was wondering if you could help me too. I have some progesterone cream, but have been holding out on using it because I am still waiting to ovulate. I was trying to hold out hope that vitex would give me back a cycle so we can use soy to ttc. By the looks of my chart (hoping and praying that my temps stay up and it shows that I ovulated) I might have ovulated within the past few days. Should I wait til I get a coverline to confirm O, or start using the cream that I have now? I don't know if I have O'd or am going to O, and I don't really want to mess with that, but I also need to get AF soon so we can start ttc again. With a cycle like mine is going, how many days should I use the cream before stopping it to bring on AF? I hope I didn't ask too many questions, I just thought you might have a word of advice for me. Thank you in advance!!!

I second Rebecca's question, but only on the starting af part. I'm CD52 and NEED af but don't want to use provera. So how many days should I use it, and how much should I use?

Here's what I've learned. You should start on day 12 of your cycle and take it until day 26. If you are not having cycles, you can start it anyday and take it until you bleed. If you get to day 35 and still haven't started your period, then take a preg test. If the test is negative stop using the cream and repeat the process in two weeks. If you are not sure that you've ovulated and are ttc, then I would wait. Using the cream prior to ovulation can prevent ovulation. The recommended dosage is 20 mg daily. Usually this is 1/4 teaspoon of USP Progesterone cream. Hope this helps ladies.

THANK YOU so much for the info!!! I'll give it a couple of days, because my temp stayed up today, so I'm pretty sure it's going to tell me I've ovulated! Thanks again!

Progesterone cream is a way to add bio-identical progesterone to your system. Progesterone is a hormone that helps to balance your hormones and helps with estrogen dominance. Signs of estrogen dominance can include (I've got a list of 80 symptoms) irregular periods, endometriosis, depression, headaches, hot flashes, and the list goes on and on.

You can get it many places (health food stores, drug stores, etc). I'm a consultant for Arbonne International that has two varieties. One for Menopausal woman and one for all women and men. Check out their website at www.arbonne.com. Let me know if you want to place an order.
