Hi i am having a pretty sad time with my face lately. I just want to hide. sorry if i sound so vain. anyhow I stopped yasmin and my skin was great for about 5 months, then bam. now i have got 2 large nodule cyst like zits in between my mouth and chin. they are very big and deep, not to mention ugly. i cant cover them up because they are like a bump that sticks out.
sorry to vent. I have been eating right and taking supplements and that has kept me clear untill now. so im on desogen bcp again because i dont want them all over my face. my question is ...has anyone seen acne improve on natural progesterone , it is the only thing I havent tried yet. I dont want to get pregnant right now , but dont want the bcp , i wanted to be all natural. but my acne gets really bad off the pill. any advice for me. Im pretty desperate. thanks ladies.

treating my symptoms with healthy foods ,low carb and physical fittness. juicing, and green smoothies, saw palmetto 480mg.
mutivitamin,zinc,and just added desogen bcp for my acne.hope i clear up.

Hi Siayae, sorry to hear that. I'm having success with the natural route. Prior to AF I do get one or two zits you're talking about but isn't that normal for many women? Sounds like you tried the licorice without success? Not to harp on it but I take 3-4 mg/day and it has cleared up my skin. Vitex has also been shown in studies to clear skin. The liquid seems to be more active and potent than the capsule form. Another supplement good for skin and PCOSers is zinc. Another thing I would suggest is juicing. If juicing is too much work buy carrot juice from the store and drink 2-3 glasses a day. It's packed with vitamin A and this has been shown to give clear, healthy skin. I have not heard anything about progesterone helping. HTH - let me know.

You should do a liver (or full body) cleanse. The liver rids the body of toxins through the colon, lungs, kidneys, and the skin. Sometimes the best path of elimination for a specific toxin is blocked, so it has to go to a different one. Just supressing the toxins from coming out of the skin doesn't make the problem go away, and might cause lots of new, worse problems.

A GOOD cleanse 2 times a year would be very beneficial.

I am currently on natural progesterone cream that the pharmacy compounds for me. I have seen an improvement in my acne.Of course I still break out before my period is suppose to start,key word suppose to,it still isn't.My face is clearer though. Also,juicing helps to clear up my face too.GL!!!!
