hi....i have been on progesterone every two weeks then two weeks off. I am a thin cyster but I am definetely the heaviest I have ever been. Does the med make you gain weight?

hmmm, i don't know. the only time i was on it was when i was pg~but i didn't gain an abnormal amout of weight either time? might wanna ask your doc about it!

Is it natural progesterone cream or synthetic? Synthetic hormones do have nasty side effects, so that might be one of them. If your progesterone levels are low and you're taking natural cream, you shouldn't gain weight since a function of progesterone is to use fat for energy.
