My Mood: Points: 752.98 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 752.98 | Progesterone Level I just got my P4 results back and they were 4.9, what do you think the chances are that I ovulated? My temps look like I ovulated, but I didn't really get much ewcm but I did have a lot of cramping around the time of ovulation. This is my first month on Clomid. |

My Mood: Points: 12,047.07 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 12,047.07 | I've had low P4 my last two clomid cycles. 7 and 6. My dr said that means I ovulated, but progesterone not high enough. She said it's a possibility to get pregnant with low progesterone levels, but not likely. Now that I'm on my 3rd round (waiting to ovulate) I am going to demand a prescription of Prometrium (progesterone supplements) to start taking after ovulation, as I don't think my body is going to produce enough on it's own. I feel like I'm wasting clomid cycles without it. What did your dr say about it?

My Mood: Points: 6,506.82 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 6,506.82 | My RE says progesterone moves in waves and anything over a 3 they consider ovulatory, but they would like it higher to support pregnancy and indicate good ovulation.

Points: 407.17 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 407.17 | I have had 3 rounds of clomid and 8 rounds of Repronex injec. cycles. My doctor said anything over 10 they like to see. 15 prefered for medicated cycles. My one and only BFP/MC was greater than 60. Have had 29 & 30 something still be BFN. Had a "6" that my doctor said he wouldn't count against me (Kaiser only gives 3 BFN cycles in a row before dropping you) cause to him it was basically lack of "o" and a 12.6 he wasn't very hopeful with either. These are all done 4dpiui. He has me start prog. "after" that b/w (that evening) to reduce the risk of tubal preg.

If I used Clomid or any other medication to stimulate the ovaries, he wanted the level over 15. On a non medicated cycle, he wanted anything above 10. Did you do any meds to stimulate O?

My Mood: Points: 752.98 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 752.98 | I talked to my doctor today, she looked at my temp charts and said that it looks like I ovulated late and that could be the reason for a low progesterone level, I was only a few dpo at the time. I'm going to have it tested again tomorrow. Hoping for a higher number this time!! |
