Unhappy progesterone levels

I am so bummed. My doctor just called me. I've used clomid for 2 cycles. My first, month I was on 50 mg and my progesterone level was 9.1. The second month, he increased the dosage to 100 milligrams and he just told me that my level has dropped to .7, almost a 9 point drop. Has anybody else had this happen to them. This is so disheartening.

I actually went through this when I used clomid. My first cycle was o.k. then when they increased the dosage my second cycle was wacky. WHen they increased the dosage the third time, I got pg. So, hand in there, yoru hormones are just settling in to the clomid. They may also be able to give you progesterone shots or in my case they used inserts to bring my levels back up to normal before the third cycle.

Good Luck!

Thank you so much for responding. You have made me feel so much better. My whole family was feeling really bad for me after I got those results. Thanks for the support in knowing I'm not alone and that anything is possible
