| It said it was 10.29 which the nurse at the RE's office said I either am getting ready to ovulate (which of course is wonderful news) or just ovulated. |
p4 usually starts out pretty low before Oing, then AFTER Oing, it starts to rise, since the follicle doesn't become the CL and start kicking out the progesterone until after it kicks out the egg. I have never heard of p4 being high when you are "getting ready to O". So, most likely you already Oed. p4 should peak at 7 DPO, and then, if you are not PG, after 7 DPO the p4 levels start to fall, and go back to pre-O levels about 14 DPO which causes AF to show.
If you are PG, then the p4 levels will continue to rise past 7 DPO (if the CL is functioning properly). PG p4 levels should be higher than 15. With a p4 of 10.29, it is either on its way up (you are between 1-7 DPO) or on the way down (you are between 7-14 DPO). If it is on it's way up, then your beta was drawn before implantation could have accured (about 7 DPO), and you still have a chance of getting your BFP this cycle. If it on it's way down, then AF should arrive within the next 7 days.
I hope it is on the way up! If AF doesn't arrive in the next 7 days, I would POAS, and/or ask for another beta & p4.
