Angry Progesterone Pessaries!!!! Arghhhh!!!

I hate these stupid things....they itch...they are annoying and they dont work!!!
I was put on them from cd14-cd26 to try to thicken my lining...last month was a light period so I guess they didnt work that time...and this month....I was only on cd20 and came on!!!
Now today I am in quite a degree of agony and very miffed cos of it!!!...It feels as though someone has detached my womb and it is floating around my body bumping into things...thats the closest description I can think of for it....I thought these damn things were supposed to help....not screw my body up even more!!! Argghhhhh.....well at least this is it for them...and Clomid..I see doc on June 16th and we are sending me on to injections...we'll see how they affect me.
Sorry...I probably should have put this post in rant....but....has anyone else had this experience with progesterone pessaries...the ones I am on are called Cyclogest.
Thank you x
Stephanie x

Steph, I tried to persuade my consultant to put me on progesterone supps this week but no joy!! I have my last gonal-f shot tonight and then I am triggering tomorrow with Profasi. My consultant just pooh-poohed my arguments about miscarriage risk and PCOS bah!

I have resorted to ordering progesterone cream from a company in the USA rather than go without. It cost $34 which includes shipping and I think that is about £20 in our money!

I have heard other cysters complaining about messy prog supps and I think the best advice is to put your morning one in 30 mins before you get up and put the night-time one in just as you go to bed. Oh and then wear a panty-liner 24/7!!

I hope you feel better soon-try doing a search on the net for side effects but those you are feeling sound pretty normal I think. What CD are you on now in this cycle?

Hiya LuLu

Thanks for your reply x
I am on 1 400mg pessary a day cd14-26....I was only on cd20 and came on!!! Last month I came on a day and half after stopping them...around cd28/29....so for them to just bring me on so early is annoying...I should now be on cd23-24 but cos of getting period I am now on cd4 (Sunday) of a new cycle.
Ive totally given up hope with Clomid....it doesnt even make me ovulate...at all!!!
So when I see doc on June 16th she is passing me to her fellow doctor for injection therapy....I just hope that works cos Im seriously getting to the end of my tether!!!
Thanks again for replying and good luck to you on your ttc journey xx
