Default progesterone question - help pregnant cysters!

I have been on nine rounds of fertility (between clomid and injectibles). Every month, my progesterone level is around 15 a week after my insemination. Well, yesterday, the nurse called and it is at 48.4. Could this be a sign? I am so excited, but trying to contain myself. Please advise if this happened to you during the cycle you became pregnant. TIA!!!!

Unfortunately all that the progestrone means is that you ovulated ..
I wish you could tell by that number but I got my hopes up many times before and it wasnt true .... if you do fall pregnant though, that's a great number to sustain your pregnancy ....good luck!

Okay, I think I have read every website in the world about this topic, and it says normal progesterone levels in the first trimester is up to 40...I am confused. It does fluctuate a lot, right?

I was looking into this last week. Progesterone isn't an indicator of pregnancy, but it's a good sign of the pregnancy being successful if you do get a positive. When can you test?

Hey there! The doctor is doing a blood test on Wednesday. My DH won't let me buy the HPTs. He is telling me to chill and wait. I wish I could be as calm as him! I am just in such a shock because I was progesterone deficient with my son, and was on injections, and was at 15-20 the whole trimester. Then, all this year +, I have been at 15 like clockwork every month. I am just bewildered that it would be so high on it's own.
I wish the clomid didn't give preggo symptoms like it does. I have so many, but can't tell what is what!
Thanks for responding!
