Default Prolactinoma and bromocromptine

I've just been diagnosed with a prolactinoma and put on Bromocromptine for two months. A scan also indicated polycystic ovaries and my blood work indicated that my progesterone level was 14 on day 21 of the cycle they tested. (Apparently it should be around 30). However the scan indicated that I had relased an egg or a corpeus lutum??

I'm not totally freaked yet but I'm confused as to whether these are separate problems or linked. I.e. do I have cysts because my prolactin level is elevated and therefore inhibiting my ovarian function OR is my prolactin elevated because of the polycystic ovaries?

I am 28 and have periods every month, although since coming off the pill I had a sneaking suspicion that my periods were a bit different and not as heavy. I had slight discharge from my breasts, which led on to the prolactinoma diagnosis. My level was 800, then 710, high but apparently not that high as some women's levels can be in the thousands. Not high enough as well to stop my periods, even though I may not be ovulating on every cycle. It's all a bit confusing.

I am a normalish weight, I am trying to lose at least a stone but certainly not really overweight, I have no hair problems or typical POCS symtoms. Although I think High GI foods are not too good for me. I have felt a but mental for a while and I think this explains a few things. I have been taking primrose oil for three months and I feel that that is helping with PMS.

Will my progesterone go back to normal after the bromocromptine brings down the prolactin?

My Endo has laso recommended that my hubby and I have our other bits checked out as he feels it would be unwise to have dealt with the prolactinoma and not check everything else out.

I'm sorry that this is rambling - all this is a bit bizzare and freaking me out.
