Okay I've taken prometrium for years now to to coax AF out of hiding. I had a full D&C at the end of Feb, and the doc wants me to keep up on my cycles. So I started prometrium on CD 20 and I am now on CD 36. Last monday I had spoting for a second when I wiped there was dark old blood, but just a couple spots on the tissue. I don't understand Prometrium has always worked for me to get AF. Why has she not arrived. What should I do?
I was thinking about calling the doctor, but I dont know if I want to. Things are just seeming really weird, and I'm confused. The longest it has ever taken after stopping any dose of promtrium was like 2 days! And its been a week.
I had that happen the second or third time I used prometrium to jump start af. I called my doc about 3 weeks after my 1st pill, they had me take a preg test, and when it came back - I took 2 pills a day for 5 days instead of 1 pill a day for 10 days, and af started on day 3 or 4 of the pills. I would call your doc, that's probably what they will say for you to do too! Good luck hun! I sometimes wonder why it has to be so frustrating!! *hugs*

(((hugs))) After my micarriages (twins) I didn't get AF for 6 weeks. I'm prtty sure that is normal. I also had a few clots (I didn't have a D&C) and little dark spots come out in between. I would wait for 6 weeks, if you don't see AF by then, I would call the doctor. Also, I would expect possibly a painful AF. My first AF after my miscarriages was so painful right before it started that I went to the ER.

Trying again with clomid and Novarel July / August 2006
I didn't have a miscarriage... I had a polyp removed that is why I had a D&C the doctor originally told me that it shouldnt delay me having a period because it wasnt hormone based. I called this last week and they said that my lining might be thin to wait a few weeks and start prometrium again, and if I dont get AF from that the to come in and see them.
