anyone take this? omg i took my first dose tonight and about 1hr later i was so dizzy and tired!!! ... i am taking 2x100mg ... 3x a day .. is this normal ...any suggestions to deal with this? i work 9-5 mon-fri .. what am i going to do?

Hello, I am supposed to start taking this on Monday 4x100mg a day,I have heard that you get dizzy and tired, some doctors will allow you to take the pill vaginally and I heard this cuts down on your symptoms. Hope this helps a litle.

when will you be taking yours ... what i was thinking of doing is taking a dose at 5pm after work and another at 5:am then i can still sleep a few hours before work?

I have taken Prometrium in the past and will be requesting that they give me the 200 mg pills and I will take them vaginally. When I take them orally it, my side effects are pretty intense because the liver is breaking down the hormone and you are only getting 20 mg. When inserted you will get most of the 200 mg straight to your cervix/uterus where it is needed. And the liver is saved the extra work so the symptoms are much less. My dose will be 200mg 2x a day in the luteal phase and through out whole PG!

Hi........I've been reading up on Prometrium, I think I am going to try and get a prescription for it because I suspect my prog. is low..........anyway, I also have a fatty liver so I don't think i will be able to take the pills.
The one you insert and that goes straight to the cervix/uterus, it's the exact same ingredients as the pills right ?
