Prometrium (progesterone) question… regarding inducing AF
I was given prometrium to help induce a period. I took 200 mg twice a day for 10 days. How long does it take before it works (if it is going to)? I stopped taking it over a week ago, and no sight of AF yet. Just curious… After I get AF (or maybe if I don’t), I am supposed to start Actos or Fortamet.

Well, my Dr. Prescribed me Prometrium 200 mg too and I was only supposed to take it once a day at night and after just taking it for 5 days AF showed up. I was surprised since I had taken Provera before and Af didn't show up as fast as taking the Prometrium. But for me, during AF this time my cramps were something fierce. It was so painful. I hope AF will show up for you too.
