Default prometrium question

I started a 10 day cycle of prometrium on 11/18 to start AF . I finished my dose on 11/27. Usually in 7 days my AF will come, but on this cycle I started spotting (very light) on 12/2. Is that normal to just spot that early? This is my third time taking prometrium and I never had spotting before. And today I have no spotting at all and I have no symptons of AF.

I've taken Prometrium twice. The first time, AF showed the same day I took the last pill. The second time (about 2 weeks ago) AF showed up the second day after my last pill. It was very light, and I actually thought it was done after 3 days, but it started up again, and is still going (I'm on AF day 5). You might have a really light AF, and it may come back again or you might be done. Everyone's different, I suppose! I hope this helped!

I take Prometrium on the 12th-25th day of my cycle, after the 3rd month I could tell that it was really helping me start bleeding sooner than I had been for the last year. For a while there I could never tell when my period was going to start.

I asked the doctor could I take it longer than usual because of how great it was making me feel, so he approved two days earlier than at first [which was the 14th day originally].

It's going to take your body a few months to adjust to something you can depend on..I'd say up to five.

Another issue is if and how well you take birth control pills. If you don't take it at the same time every day, then it can make your cycle show up at irrational times or delayed too.
