Hi All - I had a Dr appt on Monday and he prescribed Prometrium. I took it Tuesday and Wednesday, I woke up this morning and it seems as AF has made a visit. Is this unusual to see AF so soon after starting Prometrium? And do I stop taking it now that AF showed up?

My Dr told me to take it for 12 days (100 mg) for the first 12 days of each month. However, for the first time he wanted me to start it right away since I hadn't seen AF since June.

Has anyone had much success on this?

I take 200mg each month for 10 days and I always have an AF one or two days after the last day. Seems to work o.k. for me except for some breast soreness and small amount of acne.

It normally only takes me 2-3 days of prometrium for AF to show up!! So, it's normal for me..lisa
