Prometrium/Yaz question.. HELP Well I was 5 pills into my 12 day prescription of my Prometrium after our loss last month when I ended up in the hospital on the 21st of Nov. Obviously being in ICU and on a ventilator and all that stuff the last thing that they were worried about was my hormones and all that, and come to find out Richard forgot I was takin it and never even told them I was on Prometrium. After I got released from the hospital, I figured it would have been pointless to start and just take the 7 days worth because it was already interrupted. Obviously since my body and hormones with having the PCOS are soo screwy I cannot have a period without some type of help, just as I thought AF has decided to not show. I was told after I had a bleed from the Prometrium to go ahead and restart my Yaz (low dose BCP). I haven't called my GYN's office to ask because she's only in like 3 days a week and it takes forever and ever for them to call back. I was thinking about going ahead and just starting the Yaz, even though I haven't had a period? I desperately need to do something soon because the Acne and hair loss stuff is starting big time again (symptoms of the PCOS) Or should I call the office and see what they suggest? I just don't want to have to fork out another 25 bucks for 5 pills of prometrium to "restart" the prescription or whatever.
Sorry if this sounds confusing I'm just an emotional wreck with everything that has happened. I shouldn't have to be thinking about all this crap because I should have a little bean in my tummy still
