Here's a recipe I've got for a hot morning cereal, but I have modified it at times, adding some peanut butter to make it stick, and using Stevia to sweeten it a little. I roll it into little balls...thought it may give you some ideas!
1 C flax seeds
1 C ground almonds
1/2 C oat bran
1 1/4 C wheat bran
1C vanilla whey protein powder
cinnamon to taste.
Grind up the flax seeds in a food processor. Lightly toast the almonds, and combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container. To make bars, sometimes I add some pnut butter, and a little stevia to sweeten it, and I roll them in sesame seeds.
