I am 5 days out and I haven't started yet!!! I took it for 10 days and last pill was last Thursday and now here it is Tuesday and nothing gosh now yesterday I had cramps but nothing else not even spotting I stopped taking the metformin 3 weeks ago but I can't help to think that is the reason (me stopping the met) I am so mad!!!! What next?!?!?!?! Anyone?

I have taken provera and had nothing to happen at all. My doctor gave me prometrium to jump start AF. I know for some women it works rather quickly like 2-3day after the last pill and some it takes up to 2 weeks. I wish you luck

I had the same thing happen to me. While I was taking my metformin, so it really has nothing to do with that. It just needs some help. You should check into some natural balancing creame too. Like progesterone cream or the one I use PhytoProlief Natural Balancing Cream. It has everything that I need to balance out my hormones. It does not interact with the met at all.
Well it took a week to the day I saw "red" this monring althought it's not a flow it's something right?

Glad to hear you are seeing something. My doc told me that any spot of red is af. I asked this because I am starting on provera followed by comid and wasn't sure when to start the clomid. He advised me to start taking the clomid on the second day of my af even if it is just a few spots dark or light. I am interested to see if the provera will bring on af as I have not had one in 7+ months, which is not unusal for me off the bc pill. So, fingers crossed we will all get sorted out with a little help. I know I hope so!

I took Provera for the ten days. My last day was Saturday 6/11. I was in the Doc yesterday with no period. They did the whole work up on me took blood to test for everything known to man. I have also been getting dizzy spells and sometimes i find myself confused in the middle of a conversation. Dont know what that it. Anyhow this morning I come into work, go to the ladies room and there it was. I got my af. FINALLY!!
And its a painful one. Im hurting from my stomach down to my toes. Its a killer but Im happy to have it.

Talk about killer I am dying over here. This is the 3rd day and I feel as if I am labor all over again! ( I had labor in my tummy area) So I have been eating Midol like candy and just now it has calmed down. last night I went through 9 pads I was flowing so much (sorry TMI) but hubby walked in on me and said you need a doctor!!! I kinda laughed and said I'll be alright and he said NO really you need a doctor!!! This is by far a really bad AF for me does provera play a role in this does anyone know.

not really but, when you haven't had AF in a while ( atleast for me) it's really bad. I go on provera in a few days so hopefully AF is going to come for a visit. It has been 87 days since my last one!!!!!!!

I took Provera for 10 days, my last day being last Monday...well starting Friday I had the worst cramps I have ever had ever! But I didnt' start all weekend... Today is day 8 of no Provera and I didn't have any cramps all day today, so I thought I wasn't going to get AF..well, to my suprise I got it late this afternoon!
