Default Provera??

i`m now on CD 47.....GP prescribed me 10mg of porvera for 7 days to induce AF. Last tablet 5 days ago & still no sign of AF

When looking through the posts alot of people seem to take longer courses of provera. I have 2 questions

1/ How long after the provera should AF show her face??

2/ Do you think that the course I had was too short to work / anyone else just taking it for 7 days?

i`d appretiate some advise claire xx

I was on Primlut to induce af a seven day programme and it was another 6 days before af came. So hang on in there - I thought af was supposed to come after finishing the medication but I was wrong. It will come dont worry.

Hi Claire

I took Provera for 5 days and it was 11 days until AF showed up. Some cysters have said it can be up to 14 days. My OB/GYN told me to give it 2 weeks.

She will show up in all her glory soon! Good luck!

Default Provera

Hi claire-
I have been on Provera 2.5 mg for a little over a year now. My doctor RX was for 14 days and AF usually comes on day 10/11 without fail. A previous OB/ GYN RX'd the same dosage for 7 day and AF would come on day 10.

Hope everything works out for you!

Rita

I took Provera for 10 days and AF came 7 days after the last pill. This time around she showed up 1 day after last pill.

I took Provera (10mg/day) for 7 days and AF didn't arrive until 12 days after my last pill. My RE said that AF can take up to 2 weeks after the last pill to show up. So you're definitely still in the "normal" range!
