My doctor recently prescribed me provera for 90 days... I have taken provera before but only for 10 days. Anyone had to take provera for 90 days before? Please let me know. I am a little nervous to take it for so long. Just diagnosed with pcos in april.

That seems extreme! A possibility: The Dr. meant for you to have a 90 day supply, which would be 10 pills a month/30 pills total. and the pharmacy misunderstood what was written.
I would call the Dr's office and question this!

it is a 3 month supply 180 pills - taken 2 times a day.

I had to take it for 90 days as well, I took 10mg once a day x 90 days.

I had a very thick uterine lining and this was the best way to thin it. I had spotting while on it and then a period those 3 months as well. Actually, I had 2 the month I came off it. The period after the 90 day treatment was ridiculous, but that was to be expected. Cramps and clotting are to be expected.
