Dayna
my Doc prescribed it to stop my bleeding. I don't know much about it yet.
She said I wouldn't be on it long, around 2 weeks.

I am having a Provera induced AF right now (started yesterday) so far it hasnt been TOO bad but they have the potential to be really bad with me, heavy flow lots of crazy moods and heartburn.
I took it for 7 days and got AF 8 days after stopping it.
HTH,
Amy

I'm on my 4th day of Provera. I've taken it before, but for some reason this time I am moody, irritable and have gotten hot flashes.

I was just prescribed provera to stop my bleeding. I took it for 10 days and on the 8th day I started spotting. Now, is day 4 of AF and it is very heavy. I hope after this week, I really stop bleeding for at least 2 weeks in a row. This is really making me very tired. I have to hang in there until Oct 4th when I see an RE for the 1st visit. I am also taking 2000mg glucophage xr. Good Luck!!
