Default Provera and AF???

Hi I'm new. I am a little confused because this is my first time using Provera (the generic brand) I was on it for 5 days 2 times a day and today is the 4th day after finishing the last pill. I have barely there spotting but there is a couple times when I use the bathroom when I wipe I see red (sorry TMI). My question is my doctor kept saying over and over that any spotting is counted as day 1 for me with the Clomid (I have to start clomid on day 3). Can this really be day 1. When AF didn't show yesterday I called dr and they had me fill refill of Provera which I had started first pill this morning thinking AF wasn't going to show and then after is when I saw that light little spot if that's what we wanna call it. Anyway, I'm so confused and scared of screwing this up. I heard all these stories of people on Provera and then having this extremely heavy period and here I am with barely anything I just want to know if anyone has had this same experience.
Thanks and sorry if this post is confusing, I'm confused myself.
Thanks in advance.

Cycle day one is typically the first day of full red flow. Spotting isn't normally counted as day one... but if your doc says it is...

It could be a slow starting AF. Sometimes it took up to 4 days before I got AF after Provera, some woman take up to 2 weeks. I am not really sure what to tell you... Maybe go ahead and take the Provera you have on hand, and then wait a bit. Or don't take what you have, and wait a bit. Sometimes it just takes awhile with Provera.

Default ..

thank you so much for your response. I know how hard it had to be to answer my question since I am making myself bonkers over here confused, I'm driving my husband crazy, lol.. I think I'm going to see what happens tomorrow with AF and then call dr and probably continue the refill of Provera and see if it brings it on stronger. I just didn't want to screw up my Clomid time that he said to take on CD3-7. This is all so hard to get used to. Thanks again though for helping.
