I've taken provera before to induce a period but I don't remember being this way before.
I'm so emotional, stressful things feel extremely stressful, sad things are super sad etc. etc. I'm not usually like that and its making me crazy (more crazy than it would otherwise too!)
Can the provera cause mood changes?

Definitely! When I was on provera I was a Super B!! I cried for no reason, snapped at DH over nothing, and just was crazy in general. As soon as day 10 was over I was back to normal.

Yeah progesterone can definitely mess with your emotions. I found that the first few hours after I took it that I was very angry and short tempered. But that only lasted for the first few days of taking it. It is the least favorite med that I've taken so far!!

Oh yes. Super dooper emotional and moody. I was on 10mg. I would get cramps as if I were about to get AF, headaches, tired . . . all in all it constantly felt like the day before AF.

I was actually OK on provera, but have been taking prometrium supplements which have been making me moody and emotional. It's driving me crazy because I'm usually not short tempered or emotional! You aren't alone.
