Default Provera & Clomid

Anyone on provera right now, soon to be starting clomid? Just wondering what side effects are for either... I have experienced some depression and bouts of crying on provera days 2-4. Now on day 6 and feel much better.

Does everyone experience a heavy period after taking provera? Mine aren't usually heavy. This is my first time with provera and clomid.

Are there any side effects I should be preparing for when I take Clomid?

Does anyone know the pregnancy success rate in women who have PCOS and take clomid?

Any advice is helpful, thanks!

Lizzy-I took Provera and Clomid combination my first two cycles at the beginning of the year. With Provera I noticed I was a lot more on edge and more easily would snap..especially at DH. My period really wasn't any different than it had been (that was even with not having a period for five months). I did have the occasional hot-flash too. With Clomid the only difference that I personally noticed was I was more tired than usual. About a week after O'ing all the side effects were completely gone. GL this cycle and hopefully you'll get a BFP!

I'm new to this too as I'll be starting my first round of Clomid soon and am taking provera, which makes me a little depressed sometimes. And I've heard a lot of women on here say that clomid makes them really weepy, so it should be fun. Good luck to you and keep us updated!!

Lizzy27 - The provera really helps me sleep well at night, but does tend to make me cranky. The chlomid is terrible for me!! I get really bloated and look like I'm three months preggy. I also get bad pains in my sides (ovaries) and sometimes it hurts to bend over or sit a certain way. It does clear up after I ovulate. This is my last cycle on Chlomid. I have only O'd twice on it. I think I am moving on to the injections (gonadotropins) if this month doesn't work out. Good luck - Maybe you won't experience any of this!!!
