Default Provera didn't work this time!

I finished provera 10 days ago and still haven't even had any spotting. AF usually starts 2 days after I finish the other 5 times I've taken it. I go in for an U/S and P4 level on Monday, but I'm so frustrated!!! I can't even seem to have AF with medication!!!

Hi,
I know when I took provera, one time I didn't get AF until 14 days later. It could still come!

from what I have experienced the more times you take it the longer it takes to work. Don't be discouraged af will come and you will be able to start a new cycle and I hope this is your bfp cycle!!

good luck!

I once took Prometrium to induce the period - and nothing, even after 12 days or so. I then did a checkup and the dr found that my lining was already very thin. This can happen if the Estrogen levels are low. We therefore started the treatment cycle without a period.

I know how you feel. I take prometirum and after a long hiatus from ttc I got back on the wagon and started to take my meds again. I stopped mine on 4-10 and still nothing. Its been 17 days!!! when I was taking it before AF would sometimes come before I even stopped taking the pills it can be so frustrating.

I'm also taking FertilAid...am really hoping it does something! Good luck to u too!

Thanks! I'm on my first bottle of FertilAid too. If I did get my BFP this cycle I would have only been taking it for a few days...that would be amazing! I don't think that's going to happen...but this one girl I know started taking it for just a few weeks and now she has her BFP!!! Baby dust to u too....where are u in your cycle?

Well I quit taking my meds a while ago I needed a break. I did have a cycle by myself taking nothing in Nov. so its been a long time. A month and a half ago I started taking my meds again and the prometrium didn't work. Not sure what my cycle day it lol its been so long I lost count.

knighad- I know this isn't what this post is about, but I haven't posted enough to send you a message. I was wondering how your OD procedure went. I am scheduled to have it done next Friday and I have been wondering how you are.

This has happened to me a few times. I needed estrogen to bring AF.

The dr. should give you estrogen for a whole month, and in the last 2 weeks, you should also take provera. Once you do this for one or two months, AF will come back regular--for a while.
HTH.
