Hi Kristyn-
I feel the SAME WAY. I do not understand. I had surgery 1 month after DX. and I had periods for years w/ no medications.
Okay, now my ovaries are full of cysts again (from weight gain, lupron, etc.) and my gyn just put me on provera. I took it for 7 days this month & have multiple refills, w/ next 7 starting Dec. 1st.
THIS STUFF IS KILLING ME!!!! I feel just like you. I told my mother it feels like something is eating up my body on the inside, as if my blood is fighting against the rest of my body or something. AND about 30 or 40 min. after I take it (at bedtime) I feel like I am going to die & almost fell while I was walking. Then during the daytime I generally feel extremely fatigued & sleepy, but for hours at a time, a flu-like feeling comes over me. I thought I needed to be home for that too. It was too hard to work & I was sitting down.
I am so sorry so long, but I keep reading all these posts & signatures on here w/ all the meds women are on, espec. high dosages of provera & I DO not know how they do it. I got other help problems & medications too so I am already (one leg down) but provera takes the cake.
If any woman who has been on meds for long periods of time - please tell me why you do that rather than surgery. If your case is not that bad or you are afraid to be cut - please let me know. But I just don't understand. I cannot live like this.
Okay sorry kristyn, but I feel you! I need to get a screen name so we could chat! or I need to start a new thread about surgery vs medication...lol
