The doctor put me on provera last month for 10 days. However, i started AF after just 4 days of being on it. Agian, this month she has told me to take provera again, but only 5 days this time. I am past the five days and no AF (two days since last pill). Do you think i need to take it longer or just be patient and wait for it. Don't know what to do since it is so different from the first time. Please help!

it took me to CD16 last month and CD10 this month they say sometimes 2 weks after finishing Provera...

I have always taken 5 days of provera. My af would come anywhere from 2-7 days after the last pill. nancidotcom is correct that for some people it is up to 14 days. Just give it a little more time.
Did is the mg. of provera different? That would also play a part.

Just be patient. It can take up to 2 weeks to af to come.
I have taken it many times for 5 days and af will come anywhere from 3 to 7 days after the last pill.

I've taken Provera the last two months. The first month I only had to take it 2 days. This month I had to take it for 7 days. My doctor told me if I haven't start after taking it for 10 days, wait for two weeks, then call for an appointment. Sometimes it can take 14 days after the last pill for it to take affect.
