 Provera, how long does it stay in your system/show up on blood tests?
Does anyone know how long Provera stays in your system?
Could you have it show up as a raised P4 level 14 days later still (this was my first day of AF as well, took me a long time)
history:
last cycle was declared anovlatory because in addition to no signs of O i had CD21 and CD28 Progesterone (P4) blood test and they came back 0.6 and 1.0 respectively.
So Tues 14 days after my last provera dose to end my cycle, i happened to get a u/s that shown a mystery 20mm follicle(not sure if it is functional or not. We did a blood test to see where i was in my cycle and low and behold my P4 level was 4, seeming to infer that i had O'd, sine nothing else raises your P4 levels. But the number was still real low and i wonder if it is just left of Provera on my system.
I think i am going to take another blood test tomorrow, hoping to see the level traveling in one direction of the other and that might tell me more.
Has anyone every gotten a blood test on the last day of a cycle or the very first day? Maybe even when you were taking Provera, what were your levels????
