Hi everyone, Just wondering how often everyone is taking provera. I do not get my AF unless it is induced with provera or BCP. We want to TTC right away after the wedding, so I am not taking BCP at this time. I have taken two rounds of Provera; first round, I barely spotted, but I spotted and my OB said that it was still considered a period. The second round I had 3 very light days, and a few days of spotting. I am thinking that it is breaking through, but my OB only has me doing this every six months? I am on my Second month of Met, so I am Praying that maybe it will help me kick my cycle in gear, but I have high hopes, seeing that I have not had my period on my own in 10 years!

I was taking 1 tablet ( 10 mg ) 3 times a day. Just finished my course and nothing has happened yet.
Back at the doctors on Friday and I think they are going to give me some more :os
My Dr said to me that I should induce a period with af every other month. I pretty much have control of the situation. I am not ttc right now so to be honest, a period gets in the way. I know I should still have one so I will induce one 1 every 3-4 months. I haven't had an af since December so I just started provera about 5 days ago. I am taking 1 10mg pill a day for 10 days.

If we have somewhat regular bleeds from taking Provera, does anyone know what cycle day it is best to take it on? The nurse said every 21 days or the first of the month.Does this sound consistent with what you all have been told?
Provera? How often??
