Default Provera induced period question

Ok, so I took my last Provera 7 days ago and today finally have a tiny amount of bleeding and I mean tiny. Does it start slow or something? This has been an entire 24 hours of just barely bleeding- does it count as AF??

average i was told is 7 day ... i always spotted the 1st day ... tomorrow should be more ... day 1 only counts if you have enough to wear a pad

Usually the first day for me is the old dark stuff. My doc RX'd me 10 days of provera and I took my last pill on Sunday night. I still haven't started. Arrggghhh VERY Frustrated!

Ok, update on me, AF is here! Cramps came like a vengeance on my lunch break earlier... Weird, like most of this PCOS stuff we deal with..... I may head home to get on my heating pad.

Goodness girl, looks like we're cycle buddies this month! Not exactly the best club.........LOL Well I guess it depends on how you look at it. It's the first one I have had in months, so I will probably be miserable, but I know I need it and I'll feel better when it's over.......lol

i am taking provera for the first time, (my second day today), my doc told me that any bleeding is considered a "positive bleed" and that the gal parts are working and it should come 10 days after you take your last pill, question though...are you girls taking the provera to just get rid of the old lining and have a period or are you taking it to establish some sort of cycle in hopes of starting clomid soon and ttc...the latter is me...wondering about that...

I'll be taking my first Provera tonight. I think they're 10mg for 10 days. Hoping not to get a lot of the side effects. Also, am I right that I can't use a tanning bed until I'm done w/ it? Or should I just not tan my face (ie, no face tanner on and use sunscreen) if I use a bed?

I'm kinda worried about these supposed side effects...

I took my last pill of my 10 days worth, on Sunday night. AF reared her ugly head yesterday, but it was the old dark stuff. Today was first day of bright red blood, which is generally cd1. I have never had to wait more than 4 or 5 days for AF after my last day of provera. I had one doc that only gave me 7 to take. This one gives me 10. Either way, it never fails me. I didn't have any really bad side effects this time, but am an emotional ball of goo today......lol

I take it to get a bleed, otherwise I don't bleed. It has never established a cycle for me. Every month, I cramp, break out, bloat, and get moody, but I don't bleed. I have not had a natural bleed on my own in probably 5 to 6 years.

Well I totally forgot about the sun thing and went fishing last weekend (while I was taking my provera)... I fried like an egg. I have been miserable all week recovering from the burn on my forehead and nose. I won't make that mistake again. I stocked up on sunscreen this week!

CC you sound like me, break outs, moodiness--all the sx AF is coming, but no, but i would get this brownish discharge like u get before u start ur period (if i can remember back that far..sheesh)..but the gyn (who does infertility tx) said that im gonna do provera for 2-3 months (to get me bleeding each month) and the next months im gonna do the clomid thing..possibly with some added hormones..so idk..are u actively ttc?? has a doc ever told u this or have u ever heard of going about it his way?

My doc is my GP. I don't have an Endo, and really need to find a new gyne as mine moved off last year. I am not getting any "help" right now I guess you can say. We're not NOT trying...lol I would love to do clomid to see if it would help. I hope you have success with it!!!
