Question Provera option?

I was recently told by my gyn that I might have a "touch" of pcos.

I was checked by my last gyn, for cysts and blood tests. Both came out clear.

My new gyn, says that with my irregular periods as well as me being overweight, that I might just have a touch of it.

Regardless, I got off my bcp at the end of Jan/beg of Feb. I then went on to have my gallbladder removed in mid-January and had my period the first week of March.

Since March, I have not had my period. I'm unsure if the surgery, stress, the bcp or pcos is the culprit. Perhaps all are!?

My gyn told me, that if I do not start up my period by the first week of May, that I should call her and she'd put me on something (Provera) to induce my period.

My issue is, that I've been spotting about 3 days. I noticed some ... "pieces" in the toliet, but it really never was enough to require a pad. Was this my period? Or should I call her come next week and ask to be put on something?

I currently am TTC. I'm just beginning and am worried about having issues. I just started taking Vitex- which I question if that made me spot (took 800mg a day, but for a day took 1200mg but didn't like how I felt.)

I'm new here and am very nervous about ttc and having irregular periods. Any advice/help would be appreciated. yentl22@aol.com
