ok so i haven;t had a period since the beginning of 2008. i went to the doctor and he gave me the 10 day provera that always gets my period going. well normally it takes like 4 days after finishing the pills for the period to come. well its been a week and nothing still. i am freaking out. why haven;t i had it yet? he also put me on metaformin but i stopped it because it made me soooo sick. did that cause no period or is there something really wrong with me. should i start taking it again or would that make it worse? he gave me birth control yasmin to take after i got the period. so what do i do. should i be freaking out. why am i not bleeding? i just don;t get it it has always always worked. any advice would be great. thankyou
I spoke to my RE today and they told me that I "should" start within 2 weeks after the last pill of provera. I was worried because I took my last pill a week ago and still haven't started. When I took it previously it didn't take this long for me to start. I know the metfomin is hard to get used to but it really does help, so if you can, give it another try. Good luck!!

I took Provera last month and had light AF for 5-7 days after a 13 month absense.
I started having cramps this Sat/Sun and I was sure AF was on her way and helloooo???? It's Wednesday, nothing, not even another cramp...I have no idea of what's happening...

kimberly that was how mine was i started cramping but nothing. this may be tmi but it seems that i never get my period unless hubby and i have some time together if you know what i mean. after that time it just comes. we had sex today and then when i got up to get showered it had come. however very few cramps which are off and on and not much bleeding at all. i have a dentist appt tommorrow and i am so scared that it is going to be so bad that i can;t go.

Ok I am on Day 12 after my last pill of provera and still no AF....RE's office said to call them if I don't start by Tuesday to schedule an ultrasound to see if we can proceed with Femara without having my period...aaaahhhhh!!!
