Hi Ladies!
I was writing about if ovulation would be possible after a Provera induced AF and having pneumonia at the same time.
What happened is that I started the Provera like I was suppose to and then by the time I was bleeding I was sick and the original doctor said I had strep...three days later I spent a day in the hospital and they said it was actually pneumonia.
I was wondering if that would have stopped any chance of ovulation and if we should just not try this month and what for the next one.

I a not sure if you believe that the provera was going to make you ovulate, but what it does is bring on your period. It would not make you ovulate. Once af starts again there is a chance that your cycles could be 'kicked' into gear and then you may ovulate on your own and have af, but in our case, probably not. most of us with pcos hardly have a natural af, therefore rarely ovulate on our own. If you arem starting treatent then usually it's provera to bring on af then clomid to help ovulate.

Provera made me ovulate. I took it for 10 days and instead of getting af, I ovulated 5 days after my last pill. My obgyn said that sometimes it can happen.
