I have been on Provera for 4 months now and I started spotting in the middle of my RX; I have done this once before I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. I am not supposed to have one until the RX is through.

All sorts of wacky stuff happens on Provera. The first time I was on it I was told I'd have my period within 14 days of the prescription running out. I got it while on the stuff. Sometimes it's a week after it runs out, sometimes a full 14 days. It all depends how much of your own Progesterone is helping, I think. You're not necessarily going to be the same from month to month.

When I first started Provera I never got breakthrough bleeding. I would take the pills for 12 days on 3 days later I would get AF.
I complained that it was just wiping out my energy and my OBGYN cut it down to 10days. Then I went off it for a while because I kept getting breakthrough bleeding or AF would show up all on her own.
I've been on a break since the fall and am starting back and am now on a 10 day perscription. It's now 8 days after my last pill and nothing. I am trying to regulate my body to prepare it for IUI.
I have left a message for my OBGYN and hope he gets back to me.
I didn't know it could take up to 14 days to get AF.

Yeah mine is always screwy its comes and goes when it pleases as soon as the pills enter my blood stream its a free for all; I never know when it is going to come. IT could be before I finish the RX or 2 days after I finish or the day I take my last pill. I have never been known for my regularity but this is bad I thought the meds were supposed to make me regulate a little. I am going to the Endo next Wednesday.. I have my chart so we will see.
