can anyone tell me when I should expect AF after taking provera. I took my last pill 9 days ago and still no sign of AF. the doc didn't really give me an idea of how long it should take to show up.

I've taken Provera many many times, and each time it's different, but I've had anywhere from 2 days after to 12 days after! Unfortunately it's not as predictable as taking the pill...when I was on the pill I would always get my period on Wednesday afternoon...it was so nice knowing!

Dreama, I was under the impression it was supposed to start within a few days of the last pill. It always comes 1-2 days after the last pill for me. Have you contacted your doctor?
elles - thank you for responding, no I haven't contacted my doctor. I think I will in a few days, I believe I read somewhere it can take anywhere from 2-10 days for AF to show up...but I'm going on day 10 and I don't even feel like it's coming on.

HI my first time with Provera it was exactly 14 days after I finished the last tablet to when AF turned up. A few other post I've read have said the same thing. I'm on my 2nd round of Provera. I'm now 3 days since the last tab. Don't stress to much but if your worried ring your doctor. At least then u can relax abit. Hope Af turns up for u soon.
