tgoddess: thanks for the congratulations! Yes, we are planning on trying soon. My doctor seemed to think it would be fine to proceed at this point. I'll probably be on the ovulation medicine within a month or so. So...fingers crossed! I'm glad to hear your bloodwork came back normal, that's great and I'm sure it was a relief. You enjoy your Memorial Day weekend as well!

luvin_my_redneck_man: glad to hear the Provera works for you!! It's so good that there is a medicine out there that helps with the excessively long AF cycles!! Have a great day!

My mom has been having terrrible non stop heavy bleeding causeing anemia. She was finally given provera, I was on it to bring on periods and she was given it to regulate it. It worked great for her.

Caution**** she had a TIA stroke about three months after starting provera. A known side effect. She also has PCO and she is 55 this year.

The doctors has told her not to take Provera anymore and her periods from hell are back. I have suggested to her to take DCI (d-chiro inositol) so we went halfers on the pills to see if it works for us?

I will keep you posted!!!!!!!!!!! Her only other option is to have her uterus yanked.. here's hoping.
