Exclamation provera and TERRIBLE PMS

I took Provera for 7 days and It's not been 4 since my last pill. I'm being a super B***h , have the worst cramps in the universe and no period yet but slight spotting. Is this normal??? I'm worried mostly bc of the amount of pain I'm experiencing not just in my lower abdomen but my entire stomach. Help!

I haven't had a period in 6 months.....before that I was on BCPS Yasmin and never had a regular period just random breakthrough bleeding sometimes heavy but most of the time very little cramping if any at all. I've recently been diagnosed and I'm pushing for MET to get pg but doc wanted to start things off with provera first.....I absolutly hate it hot flashes, extreme mood swings etc.

I have heard from many, many, many that provera makes them a raving, psycho lunatic, including myself. Have you tried Prometrium? It is the natural version on Provera which is synthetic hormones. I have not tried it, but have an RX for it waiting for me next time I need it. I have heard that the side effects are not as bad.

No I had not even heard of prometrium until after I had already taken the provera. I am going to push my doc for that if he insists on trying to force a period again. I'm glad to know it's not just me. I have been a crazy case of hormones. My poor husband lol anyways thanks for the advice!
