So, I took provera to induce AF. (Prior to this I had stopped breatfeeding for over 6 weeks and my daughter is now 8.5 months) Anyway, I woke up to spotting on Tuesday morning....by Tuesday afternoon, I had a very light flow.....not even enough for a tampon (TMI - sorry). On Wednesday, it seemed a little heavier, but still light. I used a tampon (for conveniece) and at the end of the day, it was changed, etc..... but it appered that AF had come to a slow. Today...... nothing..... but a tiny bit of pink.
Does this count as AF? What the heck is going on?

Does this count as a period?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm really not sure...

Maybe it's a slow starting sporadic AF?

If it doesn't start again, maybe you should call your doc and ask them.

Thank you AnotherDreamer. I have done some research and it turns out that it was infact AF! I am on CD5 and still spotting. I guess, because it was postpartum, and induced, my body had not yet built up a "good" lining.

I guess I will have a better lining next month.
