I am taking provera, day 8 of 10. Since Friday I have had this headache that won't go away. I worried and want to call the dr but feel like I should wait. I've been reading some posts here where it sounds like its a common thing to have headaches but I'm wondering how much is too much. On the side effects it lists headaches and it also says to call doctor immediately. Like I said, it started Friday and it hasn't gone away, I'm taking ibuprofin 800mg and it helps but as soon as it wears off my headache is back.
You girls think I should call? I just feel like the dr is going to think I'm dumb for calling over a headache.

Wouldn't hurt to call and tell them what's going on. At least if you need it again, maybe they can give you something else next time. I can't take Provera b/c the side effects are horrible for me.

I just finished provera yesterday. I had headaches the entire time i was on it. I was popping pills to make it go away. I think its a common side effect but if you are worried you should call your dr to be on the safe side. GL...

IM on 10mg of provera for 10 days, today is day9-thank god! Ive had headaches a ton! They started out as being constant and then getting intense. Now they are less frequent but also intense. Im putting up w/it b/c I really need af to show the heck up! Good luck!
