Question Provera working for two cycles

I took Provera in November, January and April. Each month I took the Provera I had a nomal AF. Each month after the Provera I had normal AF without taking Provera for that month. Example: I had AF in December, February and May without taking Provera. I find that I also get my normal AF the month after taking Provera. The doctor told me it could still be in my system and just gives me the little hormonal boost I need to have AF. So in March and June no AF. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I am also on 1500 mg Met.
