I have been on 40 mg of Prozac for about 2 years now because of depression and anxiety. Seems to help but every one in a while I feel the depression coming back on and unbearable anxiety.
I talked to my doc about this and he gave me a prescription for Wellbutrin to use in addition to the Prozac. He said that the Wellbutrin would help more with the anxiety.
Is anyone else on this combo? How is it doing for you? Did you have any side effects and approx how long did it take to kick the anxiety? Thanks.

Hi.

I was on Wellbutrin XL 450 mg. for over 5 years. The Wellbutrin does help with anxiety, as well as depression. It helps improve your serotonin levels.
