Default Psoriasis

I have been on this board often enough to see the topic of Psoriasis come up from time to time and I know it is common for women with PCOS to suffer from psoriasis.

However, despite all commonsense/medical advice and prescriptions, I have been suffering from bad psoriasis on my scalp for the last six months and it hasn't gone away. It's only a minor peeve, but I would love to hear about anything you might have tried that worked. I will give anything a go, now that I have tried all the mainstream methods of treating it.

Hi, i don't actually suffer from psoriasis, however, i use seaweed masks for my acne and apparently they seaweed can also help with psoriasis: here's the link - if you go right to the bottom of the page there's guidance on psoriasis scalp treatment: http://www.aalgo.com/pages/psoriasis.htm
hope it might help?!

I have bad scalp psoriasis for years and use Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree shampoo. I don't use it as my main shampoo, but when my scalp is really bothering me. I like to lather up my hair, scrub my scalp good with it and then let it sit there and tingle while I am washing up. I then do a good, cool rinse. Very refreshing for my scalp!!!
