Smile Pulse rate

Hello all,

It has been a long time since my last post, I have been discharged from my gyne team as....there is nothing wrong with me!!!!! I know this is rubbish as I am def PCOS, but am now wondering if I am also Hypo. I have an awful lot of the symptoms, but I was wondering;l
Someone told me it is not possible to be hypo if you have a high pulse, which mine is, does anyone know about this? (I smoke and am overweight so this may be reason for increased pulse). But my Grandmother is hypo and I am so tired all the time, achy and pale. Please respond, my tests recently were 'normal' but I would like to pursue the matter as I am so bored of being half a person!!!!!

Thanks guys,
Tracy xxxxxx

I was diagnosed as hypo a week ago. My sypmtoms were: high pulsrate (sometimes so high that I thought I had a panic attack), always tired, ancsiety, dizziness.

Hi there, I have all the symptoms as well but both my tests can back normal but when you guys describe a fast pulse; is it the kind where you can literally feel your heart racing and beating hard? Or is it someting else? I also feel lethargic a lot, not like I am going to have my throat close up but it always feels like there is something in there!! Anyone have that? Thanks, Bibi

You guys definitely need to be checked for thyroid problems.

Heart palps are when you think your heart is going to beat out of your chest for no good reason. A high pulse rate can also feel like that. But heart irregularities in general can be symptoms of hypothyroidism, so be on the look out.

Just remember when you get tested to keep copies of ALL LAB RESULTS... and compare them with numbers on the 'net because doctors sometimes go by their lab ranges, and trust me those lab ranges are usually so far off it's not funny!!!!

I just read a research, which indicates that low BBT is a definite sign of the hypothyroid. I have always had low temps., even before the test-results showed any abnormalties in the thyroid.
