Ok, I read in the soy sticky that supposedly you should ovulate 5 days after your last pill. That would have been yesterday for me. Yesterday was my first day of EWCM, and today I have more, and also some twinges in my ovaries. Sooo. . .it didn't work quite as it should but it looks sort of promising (this can still go either way). . .I am just wondering, how many of you who've tried this actually ovulated, and did so 5 days afterwards?
I also thought 5 days after the last pill. So did the BD then. 2 weeks later had negative HPT. Was so dissapointed, but about week later startet to feal really strange. Did another HPT and it was pos. Later the U/S showed that I had o-d 7 days later then I expected. Lookes like o-d 11 days after the last soy intace.
Do not loose hope, it worked for me!

It's supposed to be 5-10 days after your last pill with clomid, or else most docs consider it to have not worked, and soy should be similar. However, sometimes I see women on clomid/soy who normally don't ovulate and then ovulate 11-13 days after their last pill so I don't think you'd even be automatically out of the running if you haven't ovulated after 10 days. I ovulated 11 days after my last soy dose last month.
If you're just starting to get EWCM, then it sounds like you're probably right on track.
Oh, thanks! That's good news! I really, really hope this will still work! So far still having some EWCM, not tons like when I'm ovulating on my own or using meds, but then if this works like Clomid then it would dry you up some, wouldn't it? Also my cervix is softer than usual but not really soft like you would hope, nor is it open much. I wonder if that can also be a side effect of the soy. Not having ever used Clomid I have no clue. I had some twinging pains in my ovaries the past couple of days and then yesterday some cramping and the tiniest bit of spotting. . .so I am still hopeful though. In any case these effects are earlier than I would normally have them if I were going to O on my own!
Raina I love your username. . .do you know the song?
I was seriously considering using soy but couldnt find the pills you all use. Where do get them? Because in a few months i will be taking another break from clomid.trigger. So i was thinking of going all natural.

Also, if Soy works like Clomid for us, and they are now using clomid for men to raise their count...will soy do the same for them?

I took the dose listed on the bottle just to start (2 pills a day), figuring if I had the feeling it works and I just might need more, then I would go from there.
As for men. . .I don't know. There has been a study recently saying that soy can cause sperm to "burn out" more quickly, so to me it doesn't sound like it works the same way in them, but I haven't seen anything about it specifically.
