Our home study should be done next week, but i feel like our worker is kind of slacking off... as soon as i get the call that our homestudy is all done I want to run down there and look at the binder of available kids for sure, but is there anything else we can do to find a child quickly... in October there is a fair thingy where you go an meet the social workers and look at the children they have etc so i am sure that will help alot... I am just so anxious... in my heart i feel like i have a baby out there but i cant take care of her yet, it worrys me i wonder if she is ok and being taken care of etc... I just want to find our baby and have her with us. so if there is any way to moe things along please let me know!

I know exactly how you feel and it is really hard for this huge event to be largely in the hands of someone else. I would just stay on top of her as much as you can stand it. The more you are in their minds, the faster your placement should be. They won't like it, but you are advocating for your child!

I'm trying to keep me self together through all the waiting, I made a list of things I can get that i will need, like bath soap, wash cloths, baby laundry soap and a few other odds and ends and pick a few up every week to keep my self encouraged... its probably weird but it gets me out of the house and lets me do something for our child in a way...
