Whenever I lose weight, I tend to lose it from my neck an boobs first.
I've lost about 19 lbs with met, but I have to work my butt off exercising and watching what I eat. It is and always will be a struggle.

My Mood: Points: 4,402.44 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 4,402.44 | Notorius_gurl,
I started Met on 26 June and have lost about 4 pounds (~2kgs) so far, so about a pound (~0.5kg) a week - but it has been in conjunction with getting a lot more exercise (10,000 steps which is about 5 miles throughout the course of the day) and trying to eat better / count calories (although admittedly, I usually only count Mon-Thurs - weekends are still a dieting challenge!) So I can't say if it is because of the Met or because of the other changes that I made or both. Met does decrease absorption of glucose somewhat and increase insulin sensitivity, so it can aid in weight loss even if you don't change your regular habits (other ladies on this board have mentioned weight loss results even when not trying to lose weight, but just taking Met). Where you lose the weight is an individual function. My sister loses her boobs first every time she diets, but I tend to lose from my mid section first, then my thighs. Hopefully Met will work for you!
Cheers,
Dianna

My Mood: Points: 14,592.04 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 14,592.04 | I don't think that there is a set answer for your question about weight loss. We all seem to have responded to met differently --- just as we have gained in different places and amounts.
I have had success with Met in many ways, weight loss being one of them. I am losing about .5-1 pound a week (though there are weeks of more and weeks of less). I workout 60-90 mins a day, and am eating a 1200 cal a day menu that is low carb/ low GI. It is a lot of work, but I think met does help.
Good luck.
