Question Ques re: IR and glucose monitoring

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if they've been diagnosed with IR yet normal bs readings? I have, and a friend of mine who has normal bs with IR is required to use a glucose monitor for daily readings. Should anyone with IR be monitoring bs daily? What is the benefit of doing this with normal bs? Thanks for the help.

If you are IR, your blood sugar will probably not be high because your insulin will be. I use my meter to see what happens after I eat certain foods. But other than that, it's not super valuable to me.
