Is medroxyprogesterone the same thing as provera? Will taking this and Metformin help with my period to start?? Any success stories? I hope that my period starts with this medicine.

Medroxyprogesterone is the generic name for Provera, so yes, it's the same thing.

Same thing. My period started the day after I stopped the Provera. Good luck!
