Default question?

does anyone understand why having pcos makes you depressed? Sometimes i am so sad and want to cry and other times i am perfect as can be. its amazing what pcos does to your body and how much control it has sometimes.

Welcome. Yes, I agree it is amazing how much hormones control how we feel about who we are. I notice my hormone fluctuations seem to make me question my sanity and who I am at certain times... it's awful. You are in the right place to help you not feel alone or crazy. There are lots of encouraging women here to support you and visaversa.

So true dear. True indeed. I too experience this emotional rollercoaster ride. One day you'd think all was well, but all along I'd just be hiding behind a plastic smile because I want to see people happy and not have to worry about me all the time. But you are not alone.

And thank goodness we're all here to encourage one another through this harrowing ordeal. My goodness, before I found the SC I was beginning to wonder about my own sanity. It really is reassuring when you know others are out there fighting for their lives as well.

So very true. Not only do we get the mood swings but the unpleasant reality of what pcos entails can make it all worse. Don't ya hate when ya get in a neg mood and all ya think is the worst possible case scenerio about EVERYTHING. That happens to me wayyyy too much. We are all so glad we have this website though, and women who understand exactly what we're going thru both physically and emotionally.
