Hi All!

I have a question..... have any of you used or relyed on the home ovulation kits? Because I don't have health insurance anymore, I can't go to the doc to get the usual blood work to see if I ovulated or not. I do take my BBT every a.m., but wondered if the home kits work? It's so hard not knowing 100% if I O'd or not... makes starting the next round of Clomid hard to predict. Any tips???

I have heard that OPK's are accurate however they can give false positive's to people that have PCOS. It actually says that in the insert. However, my advice would be to chart your temps and follow those. That is what I have heard works best for us. Hope this helps. Baby dust to you

Hi there.... thanks for the tips =) I did read that in the insert and that's why I wondered.... I charted my BBT last month after the Clomid and the OPK showed a postive O but my BBT temp didn't seem to change much at all.... so idk? Thanks again!

I wasted my money on a really expensive ovulation predictor kit when I was trying to conceive (the type that looks like a microscope) and from my experience I would say it is extremely inaccurate. It might be a user error LOL, but I personally would not recommend them. At least that type anyways. Good luck to you!
