hi ladies I think I posted here once befor anyway just a refresher I took a hpt a week and a half ago it was + but I had spotting and cramping the Dr did a beta and it was 2497 so he thought ok 2-3 weeks is how pg I was I really can't say anything more about that since my cycles are very irregular sometimes I get only 3 or four periods a year if that unless on bcp anyway that level was taken on a saturday the 10th then I had another beta done on wednsday 3 days later that one came back 5422 he also checked the progestrone it was 4.9 too low is what he said. on Friday of last week I had an u/s and they did not see a sac in the uterus nor anything out of the norm in the tubes or ovaries said maybe it is too early then I had a beta that day those results came back that it had went up only to 5900 but by that time I had started bleeding like a regular period and cramping like one to so more than likely a miscarriage ok I can deal with that I have had to since the + anyway I take another beta yesterday and doc just called me he was certain the levels would stay the same or start coming down well guess what they went up to 7000 what the heck is going on I'am going crazy why can't they tell me what is happeining they keep telling me this is not going as a healthy pregnancy now he is saying I may need a D&C to stop the levels from going up ,I guess I will be having another u/s in the next 2 days I have another dr appt more than likely another beta scheduled for tomorrow morning any one out there with some advice or input .

My dr told me that by the time your level reaches 2000 you can see something on u/s, most times even a h/b....my levels also went up but did not double and they didn't see anything in the uterus so they treated me for ectopic....I would have them do another u/s and if there is a baby in the sac in your uterus, I would NOT let them do the d&c, I wouldn't care if they said that the pg wasn't viable because of the numbers as long as you know that the baby is in the right spot then let God do the rest....good luck, I hope the bleeding was just a fluke...let me know what happens I'll be praying for you and your little one

First off I want to say I am so sorry you are going through this. I know what it feels like to see nothing on an u/s not even a sac and it is terribly frightening. Okay....from what I gather the u/s that you had just may have been to early to see anything. Some girls don't see anything until they are 6-7 weeks along. Your beta levels are still going up...not doubling but going up. Some of us pcos girls have beta levels that are slow to rise and have healthy, normal pg's. My advice is wait to see what your next u/s shows before you do decide on the d&c. You may have healthy little bean growing away and little heart just a beating. HTH. Keep your chin up and let us know what happens.
